Bronze Project So Far

My wax cast is now ready for the bronze pour. After alternately dipping it in slurry sand about 8 or 9 times and allowing it to dry between dippings, it now has a thick hard shell around it. Once the bronze is poured in, the wax will melt away allowing the bronze to take the shape of the shell. I'm really looking forward to the pouring, which is next Tuesday.
